The
Princess Kids and Off Limits Teens
The Princess Kids and Off Limits Teens' program make child's
play of family travel. Princess Youth and Teen Centers offer a
boatload of fun, featuring everything from arts and crafts to
video games, discos, movies, splash pools and more!
Junior cruisers ages 3 to 17 can enjoy a boatload of exciting
onboard activities. Trained counselors, who are ready to ensure
our young sailors stay happy all day long, staff our dedicated
youth centers. Princess Fun Zone offers specific programs for
kids ages 3 to 12. Our special Teen Center is dedicated to teen
passengers.
On all vessels except Royal Tahitian and Pacific Princess you'll
find completely equipped Youth Centers. There's everything from
arts and crafts corners, games tables, movies, and a splash pool
area. Princess operates youth programs on Royal, Tahitian or
Pacific Princess, when 20 or more children ages 3 to 17, are
traveling on a given voyage. Children under the age of 3 are
allowed to visit the Youth Center, if accompanied and supervised
by a parent at all times. The Sun, Dawn, Grand, Golden, Coral,
Island, Diamond and Star Princess even offer a toddlers' play
area.
Hours of Operation
Sea Day: 9am-12pm, 2pm-5pm, 7pm-10pm, 10pm-1am
Port Days: 8am-5pm, 7pm-10pm, 10pm-1am
Complimentary teen activities (for passengers aged 13-17)
offered as part of normal operations. For children ages 3-12,
kid-sitting are available at a fee of $5.00 per hour per child,
except on Royal, Tahitian, and Pacific Princess.
Fun Zone Activities
Junior cruisers ages 3 to 12 can enjoy a boatload of exciting
onboard activities.
Princess Fun Zone Activities are divided into two age groups:
• Princess Pelicans - ages 3-7
• Princess Pirateers - ages 8-12
Princess Pelicans and Princess Pirateers are entertained with
such activities as: Arts and crafts, Movies and Cartoons, Video
Games, Scavenger Hunts, Afternoon Ice Cream Parties, Backstage
and Galley Tours, Hall of Fame Tournaments, Discos, Exclusive
Kids Only Dining, Edu-tainment Programs, Karaoke and lip-sync
shows, Pizza Parties, Shipboard Olympics, Pajama Parties and
T-Shirt Coloring.
Teen Center
Our astounding Teen Centers are packed with Nintendo, movies,
Karaoke, giant screen TVs, card games, board games, ping-pong
tables and jukeboxes. In addition to all these features, on
Grand and Golden Princess, teens have a separate Jacuzzi and sun
deck area made just for them.
We also offer our teen-age passengers a wide range of activities
such as: Bop 'til you drop, teens-only disco, the dating game,
shipboard Olympics, T-shirt painting, basketball tournaments,
Karaoke and lip-sync shows, Casino night, pizza parties and
movie fests. Please note that the Royal, Pacific, and Tahitian
Princess do not have dedicated Teen Centers.
Port Day Activities
Youth and Teen Centers onboard Grand, Golden, Star, Sea, Ocean,
Dawn, Sun, Coral, Island, Diamond and Regal Princess offer
complimentary scheduled activities to youth passengers ages 3 to
17 from 8am to 5pm while in port. A special supervised
complimentary lunch service is also available with parental
consent. Port day activities are available onboard Royal,
Tahitian and Pacific Princess when 20 or more children ages 3 to
17 are sailing.
Kid-Sitting
Group kid sitting for children ages 3 to 12 years is offered on,
Grand, Golden, Star, Crown, Regal, Sun, Dawn, Sea, Ocean, Coral,
Island and Diamond Princess from 10:00pm to 1:00am for a charge
of $5.00 per hour per child.
Dining
As part of the Princess Kids program, Junior cruisers will also
be able to participate in two special dinner evenings designed
for each age group. Younger passengers will enjoy dinner without
parents and in the company of newfound friends and counselors in
one of their ship's many eateries. For teens, one of the two
evenings will feature a special evening get-together in one of
the main dining rooms, complete with group photograph and a
night out to enjoy Princess' many evening offerings.
TV Programming
TV programs appropriate for children, including cartoons, movies
and award-winning programs may be shown on the in-stateroom
television during the early morning hours, midday and early
evening on Sun, Dawn, Sea, Ocean, Grand, Golden, Coral, Island,
Diamond, Tahitian and Star Princess. On Royal, Crown, Regal and
Pacific Princess, children's programs will run during summer and
school holidays when 20 or more children sail.
